In July 1927 Daytime Nicolae Balcescu, Romania 
Agricultural engineer saw gray cylindrical object hang vertically, flew over village at 600-1000 feet altitude, no sound, no lights, moving west to east. 45-60 feet long.
A hovering object was observed. Animal reactions to the object were reported. One gray cylinder, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by a group of witnesses (Achimescu).
