Intense white light lit up desert as Boy Scouts were camped out near Nevada border, one hour before atomic bomb test scheduled for that morning.
An unidentified but otherwise conventional object was sighted. One white light was observed by a 12-year-old witness in a desert (Publicity). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: AN1: Anomalies which have no lasting physical effects. i.e. amorphous lights, unexplained explosions.
