F-94 incident. Explanation: Flare.
F-94's radar lock. As jet turned to descend and intercept UFO, it made left turn climb, silhouetted F-94 against dawn sky. UFO accelerated away after jet made two unsuccessful attempts to pass UFO. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One blue-white round object was observed by two experienced male military witnesses in a warplane for nine minutes (Hufberry). A pulsating sound was heard. Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 434: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
