Missionary and staff watch circular disc with upper deck, legs. A blue beam beamed up periodically. four beings moved around on deck, waved back to witnesses!. Explanation: Venus.
Objects emitting a blue beam were observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. A few multi-colored discs, about 40 feet across, were observed in cloudy weather by several witnesses, two of them an experienced observors, on the shore for 195 minutes (Gill; Orwin; Smith). No sound was heard. Four humanoids, each wearing a luminous suit, were seen. Hynek rating: CE3: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Entity reports) Vallee rating: CE3: Entities have been observed on the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 433: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
