USAF F-51 incident. Explanation: Aircraft.
F-51 near collision with lighted UFO flying at extreme speeds. Possible UFO crash/retrieval. An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One blue light was observed by one experienced male military witness at an airfield for seven minutes (Arnold, Lt. Robert O.). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 422: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visited by persons familiar with the phenomena; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
