Sky lit by bluish flash, object crossed sky, had fiery reddish tail and long yellow flame. north rapidly to the southeast.
A mysterious explosion was reported. One object was observed by one male witness (as reported to the police) for 30 seconds (Palmer). A roaring sound was heard.
