Lab technician walking on river bank "felt presence of something" looked up, saw rapidly descending metal sphere,gave off orange glow, stopped 10 feet up, "lost all track of time" felt UFO tried contact.
Witness reported that a period of time could not be accounted for. One orange sphere, about 5 feet across, about ten feet away, was observed by one male 27-year-old witness on a river for ten minutes. No sound was heard. While walking along the river bank a 27-year old laboratory technician named Bassett "felt the presence of something" and looked up. He saw a rapidly descending metallic sphere that gave off an orange glow; it then stopped just ten feet away and only four feet above the ground. It made no sound. He "lost track of time" and felt the UFO had tried to make contact with him. There was possible missing time associated with this case.
