60 feet triangular object with large amber lights at corners. Faint glow from lights illuminate outline of object when tilted. Initial altitude 200 feet, distance 400 feet. Globes - amber light to southwest ; triangle 300 foot size.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One red-orange triangle, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in partly cloudy weather by three witnesses, typical age 22, in a rural area for over 60 minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
