Dark object with three red, rotating lights. Triangle due to obscuring stars and lights illuminating edges. Estimated 150ft alt, 200 feet away. 3-5mph. Bigger than 747.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One red triangle, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one male 55-year-old witness in the suburbs for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
