Silver egg-shape, on-end goose egg, over river. Water below undisturbed. About 50 feet off water. About size of Volkswagen bug. Moved about 10-15mph.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One silver oval object, about 20 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in overcast weather by three witnesses, typical age 38, in a city for over 25 minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
