On lunch break near the McGhee bridge at West Point Lake, witness saw something just above the lake. In 5-10 seconds the object "shot straight up" ... "at least as fast as lightning."
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One gray domed disc, about 10 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 35-year-old witness at a lake for six seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
