Police incident.
Ring of lights (red, white, blue) blinking different colors; possibly rotating. 50 feet diam, 200-300 feet altitude. Moved slowly, possibly changing orientation. All but two lights split off and left. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored light, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by four witnesses, including a child age 14, as reported to the police, in a forest for ten minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
