Three sketches depict V formation of white lights behaved as part of solid triangular craft. Slow speed, 150 feet alt; made 90 degree turn. 100 feet length. Faint hum heard.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One white triangle, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by three experienced witnesses in the suburbs for 30 seconds. A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
