Hovering vertical cigar with lights rotating around major axis, green one end and red other. Flipped several times,changed rotation and position of lights. Shot out white objects from sides, botom, and top. Treetop alt; under 500 feet away
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored elliptical, about 10 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in partly cloudy weather by two witnesses, typical age 37, in a rural area for 140 minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
