Driving west on US40 near Elk's club. Slowed car. Very large, bright, shimmering. White triangle with small red square below. "It was there, and, poof, it was gone."
A hovering object was observed. One multi-colored cone-shaped object, about 80 feet across, around 500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 52-year-old witness in a rural area for 3.5 minutes. A masked sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
