Couple in car saw round cornered silver triangle, reflected sunlight. Emitted arch of white light. Second identical triangle appeared. Objects circled nearby lake. Moved erratically, slow to very fast.
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and aerobatic performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. Eight silver triangles, about fifty feet away, were observed in clear weather by five witnesses, typical age 34, at a lake for 120 minutes. A swishing sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 444: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
