200 feet long cigar with rows of lights, hovered at 300 feet altitude, vanished abruptly.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One cigar-shaped object, about 300 feet across, around 1500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two male witnesses, typical age 57, on a farm for 90 minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
