Witness as passenger in auto southbound County Road 64. At Chain Lake saw object south of them. It moved very slowly to the east, disappeared, re-appeared as road jogged. Finally "object seemed to black out."
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One hat-shaped object, around 1500 feet away, was observed by two male witnesses, typical age 64, at a lake for 18 seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
