Man with diabled vehicle on freeway saw light approach, hover, descend, and land 15 feet away. It disappeared as traffic approached; lost from view when tow truck arrived.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One green oval object, about 5 feet across, about twenty feet away, was observed in clear weather by one male 25-year-old witness in the suburbs for over one minute. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
