Object seen over swampy edge of Lake Massabesic. Teen saw object rise from swamp. Object hovered, pivoted, then moved laterally at moderate speed out of view.
An object was observed. It moved with a falling-leaf motion. One multi-colored cigar-shaped object, around 1500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 14-year-old witness in a swamp for six seconds. A buzzing sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
