Driving to work, saw object approach from front, hesitate, pass 15-20 feet overhead at jogging speed. Watched until lost from view amid area rooflines. Object apparently overflew shale strip mine.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored V-shaped object, about 80 feet across, about twenty feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 34-year-old witness on a farm for over one minute. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
