Group including reporting witnesses videotaped light moving over Pensacola Bay.Sphere, round from below. Large red light. Estimated 130 feet diameter by Bruce Maccabee, after studying tape.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One red-orange ball, around 1500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two witnesses, typical age 34, in the suburbs for nine minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
