Red and white lights, small explosions. Sightings occurred 70-80 miles north, along coastline, said KTIL radio. 10 calls to Coast Guard
Unusual objects were sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. Several multi-colored balls, about 20 feet across, several miles away, were observed in clear weather by 17 male witnesses, typical age 60, on the ocean for 30 seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
