In June 1989 : Stougtham, Massachusetts, USA 
Pre-dawn, man compelled to go outside. Saw object approach to 15 feet away. Ran to bedroom, which glowed white. Next realized he was floating into BR over bed; called to wife.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One white ball, about 5 feet across, about twenty feet away, was observed in clear weather by one male 37-year-old witness in a town. A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
