Woman standing at window saw object appear in backyard. Separate bright light underneath object, hovering about one feet over ground. Both the object and light disappeared as woman watched.
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. Two multi-colored bowtie-shaped objects, about 80 feet across, about twenty feet away, were observed in clear weather by one female 70-year-old witness in the suburbs for two minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
