Not known how first observed. Object apparently appeared over trees, ascended, changed direction, beamed searchlight, then disappeared.
An object was observed and photographed. It moved with a falling-leaf motion. One multi-colored oval object, about 80 feet across, around 1500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 36-year-old witness in a rural area for ten minutes (Baker). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
