Big as 1/4mi running track. Disc had outer concentric circle of whispy 'smoke' followed by another solid-looking purple circle around a yellow-green center from which a light beam shone.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One multi-colored disc, about 80 feet across, around 1500 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 64-year-old witness in a city for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
