Wit driving home spotted bright light "new to area", became curious and stopped car. Light behind trees rose up and crossed over car; witness could see structure. witness next found herself again driving home.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored oval object, about 40 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 35-year-old witness in a town for ten minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
