Wit stepped outside house and saw object moving away. Got wife, daughter, and telescope. Watched for more than one hour. Saw same "at distance" next two nights.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored oval object, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two witnesses, typical age 39, in a rural area for 120 minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
