Object appeared from behind cloud, zig-zagged, and emitted blue beam toward ground. Object lost from view when witness went inside to get binoculars.
An object emitting a blue beam was observed. It zig-zagged through the air. One gray disc, about 20 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in partly cloudy weather by one female 15-year-old witness in the suburbs for 18 seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
