Wit doing chore in backyard when heard jetlike sound. Saw lights in west which were not normal for airplanes. Watched lights until out of sight (5-10 min).
Hovering objects were observed. More than four white lights, several miles away, were observed in clear weather by three male witnesses, typical age 67, on a farm for ten minutes (Carter). A jet-like sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky.
