Witness alone at home saw oval-based object pass at 10 mph and 40 feet height. Object appeared to move under treetop height through nearby woods. Lost from view amid trees.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored oval object, about 20 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in partly cloudy weather by one female 48-year-old witness in the suburbs for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
