Sphere, orange changing from orange to yellow ... like on fire. Brightest around edges. It was moving slowly eastward at top of treeline. Size of small car.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One yellow-orange ball, about 20 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by two witnesses, typical age 39, in a rural area for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
