In Mid- 1970 19:00 Mobile, Alabama, USA 
Dull gray football-shaped object with rounded ends. Hovered close to a power pole, sped away like a bullet. No features visible. 37' long and 29' high, hovering at 123' altitude. Pole 78' from witness.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One gray football-shaped object, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 56-year-old witness in the suburbs for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
