In March 1966 21:00 Minot AFB, North Dakota, USA 
Swooshed by house, went out to see. object came swiftly, stopped short of fence. witness tried to go to it, but object took off as others screamed and flashed lts. 5-6 jet fighters chase.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One gray object, about 80 feet across, about fifty feet away, was observed in clear weather by one female 39-year-old witness in the suburbs. A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
