Driving home with sons (9 and 12) saw object come up fast, stop. Family got out of car and watched. Hovering object bobbed around "like small boat in choppy water."
A flying disc was observed. One red disc, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by three female witnesses, typical age 37, on a farm for ten minutes (Hale; Jalbert; Pearce; Willims). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 333: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
