Two Highway Patrol drove east of city, SR125. witness saw "huge silver disc" over power line and asked driver to stop. Went back to station, dispatcher also saw. Watched until it left in distance.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One gray disc, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed in clear weather by one male 69-year-old witness at an electric plant for ten minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
