Late 1970's Evening Grafton, West Virginia, USA 
UFO shaped like gas drilling tower took off and flew in behind and over a line of cars. Witnesses jumped out to look, one felt sensation as if chest was being squeezed.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One derrick-shaped object was observed by more than five female witnesses on a highway (Platter). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
