9 June 1981 Around 1600 Taiwan Strait, China 
Many on the ground and in the air watch 15 nocturnal lights in a row for three hours. Several radars try to pick up but they don't appear. 10,000 feet altitude.
Unidentified but otherwise conventional objects were sighted. 15 formations of objects were observed by a male witness on the ocean for 180 minutes.
