2m diameter white sphere circles man on bicycle for several minutes. No Sound. Ascends, flies rapidly to the north. Witness falls from bicycle.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One white ball, about 10 feet across, was observed in overcast weather by one experienced male witness on a road for five minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
