In November 1956 Daytime Alamosa E Us160, Colorado , USA 
Object approached from east at 5' above ground. Colorful flame shot out the back as object shot skyward.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One object was observed by two male witnesses on a highway (Deherrera). Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
