UAL incident.
Two formations of 5 and four dark gray discs flying along plane on same course. Objects were observed from a car. More than nine gray discs, about 80 feet across, were observed by a group of witnesses, including three experienced observors, for over five minutes (Smith, E; Stevens). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
