Father and son saw two lights in sky, hovered one above other, lit up field, stopped 200 yards away, hard grinding noise when both took off.
Objects were sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. Two lights, around 300 feet away, were observed by two male witnesses (Cofelice). A grinding sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
