Explosion mixed with whine, then saw 20 feet diameter domed disc out of truck window. Transparent dome. Trajectory aligned with 250K volt power line.
A hovering flying disc was observed. One domed disc, about 20 feet across, was observed in cloudy weather by one male 23-year-old witness at an electric plant for six seconds (Pennington, R). A whining sound was heard. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 132: Report attributed to a known source of unknown or uncalibrated reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
