Ball of light accelerated straight at windshield of police cruiser, officer blacked out. Damage to car, car clock and watch 14 minutes slow. Eyes irritated as by welder's burn. Explanation: EM.
Electromagnetic and physiological effects were noted. Traces found. One ball was observed in cloudy weather by one male 35-year-old witness (as reported to the police) on a highway for 14 minutes (Johnson, Val). Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE5: CE4 which results in permanent psychological injuries or death. Vallee reliability rating: 444: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
