Stone Mason incident.
Low in west before car was sharp-cornered octagon, several times larger than moon, with light shining through sections. Appeared metallic, with bolts "like a tank", came slowly over car eastbound. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One metallic polygonal object was observed by two male witnesses, typical age 28, on a highway for 30 seconds. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
