Retiree incident. Explanation: Balloon.
Small silver disc, 2.5-3' diameter, hovered with wobbling motion low over field, rose and moved away still wobbling. A flying disc was observed. One silver disc, about 2 feet across, was observed in clear weather by more than three male youths in a field for ten minutes. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 132: Report attributed to a known source of unknown or uncalibrated reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
