Radar/visual confirmation.
A hovering object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One object, about 40 feet across, was observed in clear weather by numerous male witnesses at an airfield for 45 minutes (Staudinger). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
