9 February 1978 Around 0200 Saline, Michigan, USA 
Air Force Mechanic incident.
Residents saw boomerang or triangular object hovering near their homes. Made slight humming noise. Size of three 747's with "great intensity of light coming from the center fuselage area." Headed west slowly. V-shaped objects were observed. Multiple independent witnesses. Three V-shaped objects, about 600 feet across, were observed by two witnesses, a married couple, for several hours (Sibson). A humming sound was heard.
