In April 1976 Around 2000 Margate Beach, Queensland, Australia 
Hovering flying discs were observed. Animal reactions to the objects were reported. Three discs, larger than a star, were observed in clear weather by one male 15-year-old witness in a city for over one minute (Matthews).
